Late Season Bull Elk Hunts

These 5-day late season elk hunts are conducted in elk areas 53 and 54, northwest of Cody, WY. The season runs November 1st thru the 30th. Our clients stay in a motel in Cody, WY and eat breakfast and dinner at their own expense. We supply lunch. We ride into our hunting area before daylight and return after dark. We take one hunter per guide, and I guide most hunters myself.

This is a resident elk herd estimated at over 1,200 head so we’re not dependent on the weather or migration. This can be a vigorous physically demanding hunt with lots of horseback riding and walking. The country is big, steep and rough mountainous terrain with an average elevation of 8500 feet.

5 days — Nov. 1 – Nov. 30 – $6,500 – 1 on 1

Late season bull elk hunts are subject to a 3% BLM use fee.

We require no deposit to book bull elk hunts because of the low drawing odds which have run as high as 31% in the special license category and as low as 3% in the regular license drawing. Balance of 50% due by March 15th. Remaining balance is due by August 15th.

We welcome anyone that wants to join us in a real hunting environment full of mountain adventures and unforgettable experiences. Non-hunter rates on any trip are $300 per day. All rates are per person, plus a 3% Forest Service use Fee and subject to change. All trips, except November elk hunts, include camp style meals and accommodations while in the wilderness.

Non-hunters pay half of their total trip cost at time of booking. The second half is due by August 15th of the booked year. All payments are nonrefundable but may be used as credit the following year.
